Visualizer Settings

Open Settings with the cog in the top bar, or from your avatar menu. The sections are listed down the left. Back to the stage takes you back to the show.

While Settings is open, the performance bar is hidden and your hotkeys and MIDI pads are paused, so a key or pad press in Settings never changes the show.

Visuals

• Library: every visual in one place. Click one to play it, star it for Favourites, give it a key or pad, add it to a playlist, or adjust it. Auto-advance pauses while you browse here.
• Playlists: build set lists that mix any feeds, reorder them, and give a playlist a key or pad. See Making a Visual Playlist.
• Create: describe a visual and generate a new shader or image visual. See AI Visuals.
• Import: paste in shader code or a JSON export and save it to your library. (Importing a Milkdrop folder needs SYQEL Desktop.)

Performance

• Hotkeys & MIDI: connect a MIDI controller and bind actions to keys or pads. See Default Keyboard Shortcuts.
• Playback: how visuals advance (by time, by BPM or by hand), how long each plays, the Milkdrop crossfade and the frame rate. See Setting Visualizer Behavior.
• Frequency Reactiveness: presets that decide which frequencies the visuals react to. See Setting Frequency Reactiveness.

Overlays

• Logo & Watermarks: upload up to nine of your own logos and choose where each sits. Showing your own logos, and removing the SYQEL logo, needs a subscription. See Adding Watermark Logos.
• Marquee: the scrolling message you show or hide with M. See Marquee Text Settings.

App

• Appearance: the look of the app: Midnight, Booth, Ruby or Laser.

Account

• Account Sync: your account and the state of your library. On the web, your library loads from your account and refreshes on its own. See Account Sync.
• Billing: your plan, plan options and the billing portal. See How to Manage Your SYQEL Subscription.

What plays on the stage isn’t a setting. Choose it with Playing from in the performance bar. See Visual Feeds.
