How to Add the SYQEL Web App to OBS Run vj.syqel.com in your browser, hide the controls with H, and add the browser window to OBS as a Window Capture. Quick Start Guide – Web (vj.syqel.com) Open vj.syqel.com, sign in, pick a microphone or audio interface, and get visuals moving to your music in your browser, with nothing to install.
Audio Selection
Audio Selection The web app listens to a microphone or audio input you pick in the top bar; to visualize music playing on your computer, use a virtual audio device. Selecting The Audio Input Pick your microphone, audio interface or virtual audio device from the audio source list at the left of the top bar. Creating a virtual audio input A virtual audio device turns music playing on your computer into an input the web app can hear: BlackHole or Loopback on a Mac, VB-Cable on Windows. Selecting An Audio Preset Pick the audio preset your visuals react to from Select Preset in Settings › Frequency Reactiveness. It takes effect straight away, in every feed.

Routing Cubase Pro’s Audio to SYQEL On SYQEL Desktop, pick App Audio: Cubase in the top-bar source list; in the web app, send Cubase's output to a virtual audio device. Routing FL Studio’s Audio to SYQEL On SYQEL Desktop, pick FL Studio's App Audio entry in the top-bar source list; in the web app, set its output to a virtual audio device. Routing GarageBand’s Audio to SYQEL On SYQEL Desktop, pick App Audio: GarageBand in the top-bar source list; in the web app, route GarageBand through Loopback or BlackHole. Visual Feeds
Milkdrop Milkdrop is SYQEL's feed of classic Winamp-era presets. Play it on its own from Playing from and set how long presets crossfade. Shaders Shaders are SYQEL's feed of visuals drawn entirely from your music. Play them from Playing from, adjust them in the Library, or make your own. AI Visuals Make your own visuals with AI in Settings › Create, and play SYQEL's Image Visuals feed from Playing from on the stage. Visual Feeds SYQEL has five visual feeds: Shaders, Image Visuals, Scenes, Milkdrop and Worlds. Pick one, a playlist or everything from Playing from.
Visualizer Settings
Adding Watermark Logos On a paid plan, upload up to 9 logos in Settings › Logo & Watermarks, place and size each one, and switch them live with keys 1–9. Default Keyboard Shortcuts The default keys in the SYQEL web app, where to see them, and how to change them or give a visual its own key. Marquee Text Settings Write and style a scrolling message in Settings › Marquee, then press M to show or hide it over the visuals. Setting Visualizer Behavior Settings › Playback sets how SYQEL moves between visuals: by time, by BPM or by hand. Next, Previous and Lock work on top of any mode. Making a visual playlist In Settings › Playlists click + New playlist, add visuals from the Library, then play it from Playing from on the stage. Visualizer Settings A tour of SYQEL's Settings: Library, Playlists, Create, Import, Hotkeys & MIDI, Playback, Frequency Reactiveness, overlays, Appearance and account. Setting Frequency Reactiveness Frequency Reactiveness is an EQ for what the visuals hear. Pick or build a preset in Settings › Frequency Reactiveness to favour bass, mids or highs.
Livestreaming Via OBS
Setting up the window source In OBS, add a Window Capture of the browser running vj.syqel.com, press H in SYQEL to hide the controls, and fit the source to the canvas. Setting up OBS audio source Captured video carries no sound, so add the same audio input SYQEL listens to as an audio source in OBS. Livestreaming Via OBS Stream or record SYQEL from your browser by capturing its window in OBS and adding your audio input as an OBS source.
