Frequently asked questions
Can SYQEL receive audio from Studio One's native audio engine without a loopback device?
If Studio One is routing to your system output or an interface, SYQEL can read that device directly. For capturing internal routing on Windows, a virtual audio cable may be needed to create a loopback — a one-time setup.
Does SYQEL work on the same macOS machine as Studio One?
Yes. SYQEL is a native macOS app, and on Mac you can use BlackHole or Loopback to route Studio One's output to SYQEL without affecting your main monitoring output.
Is the free version useful for producing release content, or do I need Pro?
The free version gives you full access to the visual library and reactive engine — enough to create release content. Pro adds AI generation, custom branding, and professional output for more demanding use cases.
