Can I Use SYQEL as a Background for Streaming (OBS)?

Yes. SYQEL works in OBS, Streamlabs, vMix, Resolume and other video software. How you bring it in depends on where you run it.

From SYQEL Desktop (Mac and Windows)

• NDI (cleanest, Mac and Windows). Click NDI in the top bar. SYQEL sends just the visuals, with your logo and marquee, as an NDI source named SYQEL Desktop. No window capture, no cropping.
• Spout (Windows). Click Broadcast. On Windows this also publishes a Spout feed named SYQEL Desktop.
• Window capture. Broadcast opens a separate SYQEL Visuals window with only the visuals in it. Capture that window in OBS. On Mac this is what Broadcast is for.

SYQEL Desktop can also listen straight to the app playing your music (App Audio in the top-bar source list), so you don’t need a virtual audio cable.

From the web app (vj.syqel.com)

Run SYQEL in your browser and add that browser window to OBS as a Window Capture. The web app reacts to a microphone or audio input only. See How to add the SYQEL Web App to OBS.

Your logo on stream

On Free, the SYQEL logo is always on the output. A subscription removes it and lets you show your own logos instead. See pricing.
