Shaders
Shaders are visuals drawn entirely from your music, frame by frame. Every pulse, colour shift and movement comes from the sound, so a shader stays dark when no audio reaches SYQEL. If that happens, check the audio source in the top bar.
The Shaders feed holds the shaders that ship with SYQEL, plus any you generate or import.
Play only shaders
- Click Playing from at the right of the performance bar.
- Under Feeds, pick Shaders.
Shaders also play as part of All visuals, and you can mix them into any playlist.
Adjust a shader
Open Settings › Library, click the Shaders chip, and click a shader. Under Adjust you can change its Name and move the Pulse, Colors, Brightness and Sensitivity sliders, then click Save changes or Save as a copy. Shaders that ship with SYQEL can only be saved as a copy. See Editing a shader.
Make your own
- Generate one: in Settings › Create, choose Shader, describe what you want and click Generate. Each generation uses one from your plan’s allowance, but refining the result with Adjust does not. See Creating a visual with AI.
- Import one: in Settings › Import, paste shader code (GLSL with a
mainImagefunction) or a JSON export, click Preview visual, then Save to library.
Scenes and Worlds
Scenes and Worlds are feeds of 3D visuals. They ship with the app and play offline. Pick them the same way under Feeds in Playing from. In the Library they have a Sensitivity slider only.
See Visual Feeds for all five feeds.
